Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 35 years old.
  • You have had pain in or behind your kneecap for at least 6 weeks.
  • Your pain gets worse with activities like squatting, sitting for a long time, kneeling, running, jumping, or climbing stairs.
  • You have not had knee surgery or been diagnosed with a serious knee condition, like a torn meniscus or arthritis.
  • You have not had physical therapy for your knee in the last 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant and do not have a serious back or nerve problem.
