Who can take part

  • You have liver cancer that can be removed by surgery, and you haven't had any previous treatment for it (or you had surgery or ablation at least 2 years ago).
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • Your tumor is larger than 5 cm if single, or you have 2-3 tumors of any size, and the largest is less than 8 cm.
  • The cancer has not spread to major blood vessels or other parts of your body.
  • You have good liver function (Child-Pugh class A) and are in good overall health (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You haven't taken any immune therapy drugs (like anti-PD-1 or anti-CTLA-4) before.
