Who can take part
- You must have a type of lymphoma called diffuse large B cell lymphoma (or a similar aggressive B-cell lymphoma) that has not been treated yet.
- You must be over 80 years old, or between 70 and 79 and not able to get full-dose chemotherapy due to health issues.
- You must have at least one measurable tumor that is larger than 1.5 cm (about half an inch) in a lymph node or larger than 1 cm in other areas.
- You must be able to perform daily activities reasonably well (ECOG score of 0, 1, or 2).
- Your heart, kidneys, and blood counts must meet certain minimum levels.
- You must not have significant lung disease, active infections (including COVID-19), or certain other serious health conditions.
