Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are scheduled for robotic surgery on your liver, gallbladder, or pancreas (such as removing a part of the liver, the gallbladder, or the head of the pancreas).
  • Your overall health is good enough for surgery (ASA class I to III and ECOG score 0 to 2).
  • Your blood counts and kidney/liver function are within safe limits (checked by a blood test within 7 days before joining).
  • You do not have severe heart, lung, kidney, liver, or brain disease that would make surgery unsafe, and you are not pregnant.
