  • You have a brain tumor (glioma or cancer that spread to the brain) that needs surgery
  • The tumor is in an area of the brain that controls important functions like movement, speech, or vision
  • You will have a standard MRI before and shortly after surgery, including a special scan that traces brain connections
  • You are able to have follow-up appointments at the hospital where you have surgery
  • You agree to let the researchers use your anonymous medical data and images
