Who can take part

  • You have a brain condition being operated on, such as a brain tumor, cavernoma, arteriovenous malformation, or a brain bleed
  • Your condition is located above the tentorium (the upper part of the brain, called supratentorial)
  • The condition is newly diagnosed
  • You are between 18 and 100 years old
  • Your vital signs are stable during surgery (stable hemodynamics)
  • The registration (matching) between your patient data and the navigation system is very accurate—error no more than 2 millimeters
