Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You are scheduled for planned spine surgery that will last at least 3.5 to 4 hours.
  • Your surgery will include monitoring of your nerves (called MEP and SSEP).
  • You are in generally good health or have mild to moderate health issues (ASA I to III).
  • You are not allergic to any of the study drugs or similar sedatives.
  • You do not have severe nerve damage, epilepsy, or other conditions that could interfere with the monitoring.
