Who can take part

  • You must have at least one arm that can have a blood pressure cuff on it (no missing arm, no dialysis access, or large bandages).
  • You must be able to understand the study and sign a consent form.
  • If you are in the ICU, you must already have an arterial line (a special tube in an artery) placed for medical reasons.
  • Your wrist must be a size that fits the wearable blood pressure device.
  • You must not have any skin problems, wounds, severe swelling, or be physically restrained where the device would be worn.
