Who can take part

  • You are 65 years or older
  • You are scheduled for a transurethral resection procedure (a surgery done through the urethra)
  • You are in generally good health (classified as ASA I to III)
  • You are able to understand and agree to join the study
  • You have no memory or thinking problems like dementia
  • You do not have severe vision or hearing problems that would make testing difficult
  • You have no serious mental health condition requiring strong medication
