Home versus clinic therapy for arm function after stroke

Who can take part

  • You are between 35 and 75 years old.
  • It has been at least 6 months since your stroke.
  • You have some movement in your affected shoulder (at least 10–15 degrees of bending and lifting sideways) and at least 5–10 degrees of movement in your wrist and thumb/fingers.
  • You have a smartphone or laptop with internet access and can use it for video sessions.
  • Your arm muscle tone is slightly increased (score of 2 or higher on the modified Ashworth scale).
  • You are not currently in any other fitness program that focuses on improving arm function.
