Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a blood test showing high lipoprotein(a) (≥ 125 nmol/L) or low levels (< 25–30 nmol/L) for comparison.
  • You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or other sudden heart problem in the last 3 months.
  • You are not currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
  • You are not taking certain blood thinners (like Warfarin, Plavix, or Xarelto) that can't be paused safely.
