Vibrating vest for children with lung disease
Part of Digestive system, Genetic & congenital, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.
This study tests a vibrating vest to help clear mucus from the lungs of children with a lung condition called bronchiectasis (not caused by cystic fibrosis). It may help your child breathe easier and have fewer infections.

This trial tests if a digital physiotherapy program can help children aged 6–12 with chronic lung infections (not cystic fibrosis) stay healthy. The program is done at home using a device, and it aims to improve lung function and quality of life.
This study looks at whether breathing exercises combined with exercise training can improve how much and how well you can breathe during activity in people with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis. It may help by improving breathing efficiency and exercise tolerance, but you must be stable and healthy enough to safely exercise.
This study tests whether combining chest wall vibration therapy (a machine that gently vibrates your chest to loosen mucus) with exercise can improve coughing and breathing in people with cystic fibrosis. The goal is to see if this combination helps clear your lungs better than standard treatment alone.
This trial tests a fun interactive game and device to help children with bronchiectasis improve their breathing and lung health. It is designed for children who are stable and have not had recent infections or treatments.
This trial tests a home-use device called BiWaze Clear, which helps clear mucus from your lungs. It is for people with bronchiectasis (including those with cystic fibrosis) who have had recent lung infections and can use the device at home.
This study tests two breathing treatments—ventilator hyperinflation and chest vibration—to see which works better for clearing mucus and improving lung function in people who have been on a breathing machine for 2 to 7 days.
