Who can take part

  • You are a man aged 18 or older
  • You have prostate cancer that has not spread outside the prostate
  • You are scheduled for robot-assisted prostate surgery, and your surgeon plans to try to save the nerves that control erections
  • Before treatment, your erections were normal (you could get and keep an erection most of the time)
  • You have not had previous prostate surgery or other pelvic surgery that could change the nerve area
