Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 5 and 8 years old.
  • For the MIH group: your child's first permanent molars must have white, yellow, or brown spots (MIH) and may be sensitive.
  • For the control group: your child's first permanent molars must be healthy with no such spots.
  • Your child's first permanent molars must be in contact with the opposite teeth (in occlusion).
  • Your child must be generally healthy and not have any other tooth or jaw conditions.
  • Your child's MIH molars (if in MIH group) must not have received any dental treatment yet.
