Gum health markers in kids with weak enamel

Who can take part

  • Ages 8 to 13 and in good general health
  • Willing to cooperate with dental checkups and study steps
  • Have gum disease (gingivitis) that needs treatment
  • If you have MIH: at least 3 of your back teeth (first molars) are affected
  • If you are in the control group: you do not have MIH but still have gum disease needing treatment
  • No antibiotics in the past month, no braces, no major health conditions
