  • You are 18 or older
  • You had a vaginal birth with a moderate (second-degree) or more severe perineal tear, or you had an episiotomy
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder and have not taken blood thinners within 24 hours before the procedure
  • You have not taken aspirin or clopidogrel within the past 7 days
  • You have not been in this study before
