Who can take part

  • You are between 12 and 60 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with narcolepsy type 1, confirmed by a sleep study in the last 10 years.
  • You experience significant daytime sleepiness, scoring above 12 on a standard sleepiness scale.
  • You are able to give informed consent (parental consent if under 18).
  • You do not have other sleep disorders like severe sleep apnea or restless legs syndrome.
  • You have no history of epilepsy, severe mental health conditions, or serious heart, liver, or kidney problems.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have no metal implants or devices like pacemakers.
