Who can take part

  • You are a Hong Kong citizen.
  • You are between 40 and 59 years old.
  • You are willing to have your body mass index (BMI) measured and give a blood sample after fasting (no food or drink except water for at least 8 hours).
  • You do not have heart disease, cancer, a serious infection, osteoarthritis, a genetic disorder, or have had recent surgery.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
