Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 85 years old.
- You are scheduled for a middle meningeal artery embolization (MMAE) as part of your care for a chronic subdural hematoma (cSDH).
- Your cSDH is confirmed on scans and has a volume between 20 and 100 cc, with minimal brain shift (less than 8 mm).
- You have mild to moderate symptoms (Markwalder Grade 1 or 2).
- You do not have any other serious health issues that would interfere, like uncontrolled bleeding, recent blood clots, severe high blood pressure, or kidney problems.
