If you are on a ventilator and can get a clear ultrasound of your heart and liver veins, you may be able to join.

- You are 18 years or older
- You are currently on a breathing machine (mechanical ventilator)
- A heart ultrasound (TTE) can be done with a clear view to measure a part of heart function called TAPSE
- A liver vein ultrasound can be done with a clear view from below your ribs
