AI-guided monitoring after liver cancer surgery or ablation

Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)

This trial tests whether an artificial intelligence system can help detect liver cancer recurrence earlier after curative treatment, allowing for potentially curative salvage therapy. Who can take part

  • You had surgery or a thermal ablation (radiofrequency or microwave) to remove all visible liver cancer.
  • You are 18 or older.
  • Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh class A, meaning mild liver disease).
  • You are able to get up and care for yourself (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • You have not had any prior liver cancer treatment before this diagnosis.
  • You can undergo repeated CT or MRI scans with contrast dye.
