Blood markers for ferroptosis in Alopecia Areata

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been formally diagnosed with Alopecia Areata by a doctor.
  • You have not used steroid creams or injections on your scalp in the last month.
  • You have not taken strong oral immune-suppressing medications in the last 3 months.
  • You do not have other active autoimmune or inflammatory skin conditions.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or a heavy smoker, and you have not taken high-dose antioxidant supplements regularly.
