Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You have a lung tumor that is very close to the windpipe, main airways, or esophagus (called 'ultra-central').
  • Surgery is not an option for you, and your cancer team has approved this type of radiation.
  • You can have an MRI (no severe claustrophobia or unsafe implants).
  • You are not receiving chemotherapy or targeted therapy at the same time as radiation.
