Who can take part

  • You have a lung tumor (either starting in the lung or spread from another cancer) that is located very close to the windpipe, major airways, or esophagus.
  • Your tumor can be treated with a high-dose, precise type of radiation called SBRT, as recommended by your cancer team.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You do not have a pacemaker, metal implants, or other reasons that make MRI unsafe.
  • You have not had radiation therapy to the exact same spot before.
