Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have low back pain every day for the last 3 months, or on at least half the days in the last 6 months (if you are in the patient group).
- You have no leg pain that is more than a 7 out of 10.
- You have no specific spine problems or major health issues like heart disease, diabetes, or recent stroke/heart attack.
- You are not pregnant and have not been pregnant in the last year.
- You have not started a new medication or diet treatment in the last 6 weeks, and no antibiotics in the last 3 months.
