Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have a recent (within 21 days) break in the thigh bone that is closed (skin not broken) and does not affect the joint.
  • You could walk independently before the injury, even if you used a cane or walker.
  • The fracture is on only one leg.
  • You have no other severe injuries or medical problems that would require different treatment.
  • You are willing and able to participate in the study, including follow-ups.
