  • You are between 18 and 79 years old.
  • You are scheduled for nasal surgery under general anesthesia (using sevoflurane).
  • You are not allergic to benzodiazepine drugs (like Valium or Xanax).
  • You do not have a current psychiatric disorder or a history of alcohol/drug abuse.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 40 or less.
