  • You are over 60 years old
  • You have chronic kidney disease at stage 3, 4, or 5 and are not receiving dialysis
  • You or a family member can read and keep a food diary
  • Your kidney disease is stable and not caused by an active infection
  • You have not taken certain immune-suppressing drugs in the last 3 months
