Who can take part
- You must be 55 years old or older.
- You must have chronic kidney disease (stage 3b-5, eGFR ≤44) or have normal kidney function (eGFR ≥90).
- You must have a BMI between 19 and 40 (or slightly lower at the doctor's discretion).
- You must be a non-smoker or have not smoked for the last 6 months.
- You cannot be on opioid pain medications or certain other drugs (like some antifungals, antibiotics, or St. John's wort).
- You must be willing to use effective contraception if you could become pregnant or cause pregnancy.
