Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 55 years old
  • You are right-handed
  • You have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder
  • You are currently either not taking antidepressants or have been on a stable dose for at least 4 weeks
  • You are able to have an MRI scan and brain stimulation treatment safely
  • You have at least a primary school education and can understand the study procedures
