Accelerated Brain Stimulation for Treatment-Resistant Depression

Who can take part

  • Age 18–65 years old
  • Diagnosed with major depressive disorder and tried at least one antidepressant without adequate relief
  • Currently on a stable dose of antidepressant medication for at least 4 weeks
  • Moderate to severe depression symptoms (HAM-D score of 14 or higher)
  • No history of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other psychotic disorders
  • No metal implants in head/neck, pacemakers, cochlear implants, or prior brain stimulation procedures
