Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for at least 12 months.
  • You must use an insulin pump (CSII) to manage your diabetes.
  • You must be willing to visit the clinic often for blood draws and to take part in controlled challenges (like eating or exercise tests).
  • You must be willing to charge the sensor every day and avoid placing your regular glucose monitor or insulin pump near the sensor site.
  • You must not have certain health conditions, like heart disease, epilepsy, bleeding disorders, or anemia, and you cannot be pregnant or planning pregnancy.
