Who can take part
- You are signed up for the UTMA 100 km solo ultra-trail race, OR you are an active person (without intense exercise in the past week) who exercises 4–6 hours per week.
- You are willing to have eye exams at the same times as the ultra-trail group.
- You have no eye conditions that could affect the images (like severe nearsightedness, cataracts, or macular disease).
- You do not have diabetes or a condition affecting blood vessels or inflammation.
- You are not taking vasoconstrictor medications, and you avoid tobacco for 4 hours and caffeine for 1 hour before the study visits.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
