Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have been newly diagnosed with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (stage IIA to IIIB).
  • You have not had chemotherapy, radiation, or other cancer treatments before.
  • You are healthy enough to have surgery to remove the cancer, and your doctor agrees that you can have the study treatment first.
  • You have not taken antibiotics or probiotics (like yogurt with live cultures or supplements) in the past 3 months.
  • You do not have other serious health conditions (like uncontrolled diabetes, heart failure, or autoimmune diseases).
