Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with mild to moderate iron deficiency anemia (based on recent blood tests: hemoglobin and ferritin levels).
  • You have heart disease, such as coronary artery disease or heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF).
  • You have not taken iron supplements or iron-containing medications in the past 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have severe health conditions like advanced kidney disease, severe liver disease, active cancer, or recent bleeding.
