Foot device for teens with stroke-related walking problems

Who can take part

  • You are between 12 and 20 years old.
  • You have hemiplegia (weakness on one side of the body) that affects your ankle or foot control and walking.
  • You can walk safely and take part in walking and balance tests in a lab.
  • You can follow instructions and use the foot device at home, with family support if needed.
  • You agree not to have regular clinic-based physical therapy while in the study.
  • You do not have skin problems, heart conditions, or other medical issues that would make using the device or walking tests unsafe.
