Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 40 or older.
- You have a single invasive breast cancer tumor (2 cm or smaller) that has not spread to lymph nodes.
- You have had breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy) with clear margins, and no lymph node biopsy was done.
- Your cancer is low-grade (grade 1 or 2) and does not show lymphovascular invasion.
- You have not had breast or chest radiation before, and you do not have a known BRCA1/2 mutation.
- You have no other cancer in the past 5 years (except certain skin cancers or non-invasive cancers).
