Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 60 years old if you are a healthy volunteer, or between 50 and 75 if you have Alzheimer's disease.
- You need to have a body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 32, and weigh at least 50 kg (110 lbs) if you are a healthy volunteer, or 45 kg (99 lbs) if you have Alzheimer's.
- If you are a woman, you must not be able to become pregnant. If you are a man, you must be sterile or agree to use two forms of birth control.
- If you have Alzheimer's, you must have a diagnosis of mild to moderate Alzheimer's, and tests must show signs of Alzheimer's disease in your body (like high levels of certain proteins or a positive PET scan).
- If you have Alzheimer's, you must not have had previous treatments that target amyloid or tau proteins, or gene or cell therapy.
