High-protein rice for blood sugar control

Prediabetes

Part of Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.

This study tests a special high-protein, low-glycaemic index rice to see if it helps control blood sugar levels in people with prediabetes. Glycaemic index is a measure of how quickly a food raises blood sugar, so this rice may be better for managing blood sugar than regular rice.
