Blood'up device versus manual feeling for arterial blood draws

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a body mass index (BMI) under 30.
  • You must have no history of heart or blood vessel disease.
  • You must have a positive Allen test, which checks that both arteries in your wrist work properly to supply blood to your hand.
  • You must not be taking blood-thinning medications.
  • You must have no skin damage or injuries on your arms or hands.
