Who can take part
- You are between 50 and 80 years old.
- You have a significant smoking history (at least 20 pack-years, meaning e.g. 1 pack a day for 20 years, or 1 shisha head per day for 20 years). Current and former smokers are welcome.
- You have never been told you have lung cancer, and you are not currently being watched for lung nodules.
- You are not being actively treated or monitored for a serious medical condition.
- You are able to lie flat with your arms raised above your head for the scan.
- You do not have symptoms that could be lung cancer, such as a new or worsening cough, coughing up blood, or unexplained weight loss of more than 15 pounds in the past year.
