Who can take part

  • You had surgery to repair a narrowing of the main artery from the heart (aortic coarctation).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You do not have severe narrowing or an aneurysm (bulge) in the repaired area of the aorta.
  • You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or heart surgery in the past 2 months.
  • You do not have an irregular heartbeat or chest pain at rest, and you do not have severe heart failure.
