Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have had surgery to repair a narrowing in your main artery (coarctation of the aorta).
  • You do not have high blood pressure when resting.
  • You are not taking any blood pressure medicines.
  • You are able to do an exercise stress test (like walking on a treadmill).
  • You do not have serious heart valve problems, advanced heart failure, or certain irregular heartbeats.
