Who can take part

  • You are 65 years of age or older
  • You have noticed problems with your memory
  • You have not been diagnosed with dementia
  • You are able to manage daily activities independently
  • You can commit to study visits and follow-up sessions
  • You are willing to undergo cognitive testing and brain stimulation sessions
  • You are able to attend all study visits at the research center
  • You have someone to accompany you to study visits if needed
  • You are willing to provide informed consent
  • You have a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or are concerned about memory loss
  • You have a study partner or caregiver who can provide information about your memory and daily function
  • You have not had a stroke or other neurological condition affecting cognitive function
  • You have not recently changed or plan to change any cognitive-enhancing medications
  • You are willing to undergo brain stimulation and cognitive testing
  • You are willing to undergo brain MRI scans
  • You have not used recreational drugs in the past 30 days
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You are willing to use effective contraception
  • You have not had a fever or infection in the past 2 weeks
  • You have not received any investigational drug or device in the past 30 days
  • You have not used a heart pacemaker or other electrical device
