  • You are 12 to 17 years old and have started puberty
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is over 30, which is in the obese range for your age
  • You do not have type 1 or type 2 diabetes

  • You have no other condition that affects eating or blood sugar, and you have not had weight-loss surgery
