Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You must have a diagnosis of a schizophrenia-spectrum disorder.
  • You must be able to give written informed consent.
  • You must not have a history of seizures.
  • You must not have an unstable medical condition affecting the brain, such as a recent stroke, head injury, brain infection, or tumor.
  • You cannot take more than 400 mg of clozapine per day unless you are also taking anti-seizure medication.
  • You must not have significant alcohol or drug use in the past month (except nicotine or marijuana).
  • You must not have a history of blood clots or conditions that increase blood clot risk.
  • If you are a woman able to have children, you must not be pregnant.
  • You must be able to undergo MRI scans (no metal implants, no claustrophobia).
