Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 6 months and 4 years old.
  • Your child must have mild hearing loss in both ears, confirmed by a hearing test.
  • Your child must not have used a hearing aid before.
  • Your child must have been born full-term (at least 37 weeks) and weigh at least 2500 grams (about 5.5 pounds) at birth.
  • Your child must not have other serious medical conditions or disabilities that could affect development.
  • Your child must be able to attend all scheduled study visits.
