Blood fats and platelets research for blood clot risk

Cardio Vascular Disease

This study looks at how blood fats (lipids) interact with platelets to help understand blood clot risk and possible future treatments. It is for people over 40 without known heart or artery disease.

NCT06747000Recruiting
Study of fats in blood and platelets

This study looks at how fats (lipids) in your blood affect blood cells called platelets, which help with clotting. It includes both healthy people and those with high cholesterol or other fat issues.

NCT06552767Recruiting
Thrombosis and blood vessel inflammation study

This trial aims to learn more about blood clots, inflammation, and blood vessel problems. It may help researchers better understand these conditions and how they affect people.

NCT07720934Not yet recruiting
Study of blood thinners in people with high lipoprotein(a)

This study looks at how blood platelets work in people who have high levels of lipoprotein(a), a type of fat in the blood that can increase heart risk. It tests if common blood thinners (aspirin and clopidogrel) work differently in these patients.

NCT07523880Recruiting
Blood Markers Study for Heart Disease and Blood Clot Risk

This study examines new blood markers to predict blood clot and bleeding risks in patients with heart disease taking blood thinners. Understanding these markers may help doctors better predict complications and adjust treatment for individual patients.

NCT06126367Recruiting
Study on lipoprotein(a) and clot breakdown in heart disease

This trial looks at how a type of fat in the blood called lipoprotein(a) and your body's ability to break down clots affect heart disease or heart valve disease. It is for people who are already taking certain cholesterol-lowering medicines or have severe aortic valve narrowing from calcium buildup.

NCT04809506Recruiting
Blood and genetic tests to predict future heart problems

This study looks for new body markers (including possible genetic traits) to better predict who is likely to have future cardiovascular events. Your results could help doctors estimate risk and choose prevention strategies more accurately.
