Stem cell infusion for early menopause

Premature Ovarian Insufficiency

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with premature ovarian insufficiency (early menopause), meaning your periods are very irregular or absent for more than 4 months, and your FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) level is above 25 U/L on two tests taken at least 4 weeks apart.
  • You have either fewer than 5 antral follicles (small follicles) in both ovaries combined, or your AMH (anti-Müllerian hormone) level is very low (≤7.85 pmol/L).
  • You have been on a stable dose of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for at least 3 months and are willing to continue it throughout the study.
  • You do not plan to become pregnant and are willing to use effective contraception during the trial.
  • You have a negative pregnancy test and are not breastfeeding.
  • You have not had cancer, and you do not have certain other medical conditions (like thyroid problems, abnormal chromosomes, or severe liver/kidney disease).
