This trial uses a simple test called bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) to estimate muscle and fat in adults with obesity, comparing it to a more precise scan (DXA). It aims to see if BIA can reliably measure body composition.
This study looks at body composition (fat, muscle, and bone) in healthy adults aged 20-40 or over 70. It uses imaging and samples to learn more about body changes with age.
This study looks at how endurance exercise changes fat cells in the body. It may help understand how exercise benefits weight-related health.
This study looks at how fat cells in the belly release fat. Researchers want to learn more about fat breakdown in people who are overweight or obese. If you join, you may get a drug that helps them measure fat activity.
